Dr. Kuniko Kadoya earned her doctorate degree in Hygienic Science at Kitasato University in Japan.

Before coming to the United States, worked at Wound Healing Center at Kitasato University and at Shiseido Research Center, investigate extracellular matrix related to skin aging and damage. After moving to the United States, post-doctorate training at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in San Diego, then at Viacyte Inc. participate developing stem cell therapy for diabetes patient. And then at Shire Plc. working with human fibroblast-derived cell therapy for diabetes foot ulcer treatment. She joined Allergan Aesthetics/Abbvie in 2014.
