Dr Davies leads a multidisciplinary research group investigating the roles of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in musculoskeletal physiology, regenerative medicine and drug delivery. He has been awarded multiple external grants from funding bodies including the Academy of Medical Sciences and EPSRC, as well as a postdoctoral fellowships for his work on EV therapeutics. He has a keen interest defining how EV therapies can be taken from bench to bedside.
