M.Sc in Naval Architecture in 1970 at Helsinki University of Technology, in Finland.Managing Owner of Emmanoa Oy, a consulting company in the field of shipbuilding, ship technology and projects, with the particular attention to the passenger ship segment.From 1969 to 2013 employed by the leading shipbuilding group in Finland (co. names Wärtsilä, Masa-Yards, Kvaerner, Aker, STX). Retired in 2013 after having served the group over 44 years. Latest position before retirement SVP Marketing.Various technical and marketing/sale functions related to arctic ships, passenger ships, IP – issues, international cooperation etc.The career includes also six years as President of the group’s engineering subsidiary in Vancouver, BC, Canada, one year as SVP of Marketing and Sales Aker Philadelphia Shipyard in USA and two years as SVP of Marketing of Aker Yards Cruise and Ferries with office in St Nazaire, France.Vice Chairman of Euroyards EEIG, Brussels from 2008 – 2013.
