Konstantin Logunov, Dr.Sci. (1999), Professor (2000). He has been engaged in maritime health for 30+ years: as experienced ship doctor he’s lead specialized training courses for medical personnel, and for non-medics as well, and chaired unique Maritime Health and Diving Department at SPBMAPO - I.I. Mechnikov NWSMU, St. Petersburg, for 15 years. Being an ILO Expert on marine medicine, he’s executed official review of the ever first International Guide for Preliminary and Periodic Medical Examinations of Seafarers (ILO/IMO/WHO, 1998), compiled and edited Russian national guide for doctors "Marine Medicine. Ed. 2nd, St. Petersburg, 2015). He is regular speaker at major international profiled conferences – Symposiums on Maritime Health (ISMH14, Manila, 2017; ISMH15, Hamburg, 2019), Arctic Forums (UArctic, St. Petersburg, 2016; Arctic Shipping, Helsinki, 2018; Arctic Frontiers, Troms, 2019). Prof. K. Logunov heads the advisory service in Telemed-Russia, one of the largest internationally scaled telemedicine centers for ships.
