Sergey Khrushchev is Vice-president Director for arctic projects of Russian State Geological Company Rosgeo.
Most his life dedicated to Arctic. With a background in the Geophysics, Oil&Gas and Economics, Sergey received a Global Executive MBA from the IE Business School of Madrid in 2015. He has held a diverse range of senior positions with federal and regional government as well as the private sector in Russia (Yamal LNG etc.). Sergey’s professional focus has been on infrastructure, oil and gas development and finance. He has dedicated much of his career to developing the potential of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in Western Siberia. In his current role Sergey is leading Company’s strategy and policy work for the Arctic and Antarctic.
Until September 2020, Sergey held the position of Director of department of State Policy and Regulation of Hydrometeorology, the Study of the Arctic, Antarctic and World Ocean at the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.
