Mr. Wang specializes in compliance and government regulation, commodity trading, corporate/M&A and litigation.
Mr. Wang used to work in the Pudong New Area Branch of Shanghai Market Supervision Bureau, responsible for administrative law enforcement and government supervision work such as anti-unfair competition law, commercial bribery, advertising law, product quality law, trademark law and consumer rights protection, etc., through which he has accumulated extensive experience in administrative law enforcement.
He has represented many domestic and foreign clients in responding to investigations by the Municipal Supervision Bureau, Customs, Taxation, Environmental Protection, Public Security and other regulatory authorities, and has also represented many multinational companies in conducting FCPA and anti-corruption internal compliance investigations.
Mr. Wang has worked in the Shanghai office of a well-known international law firm, specializing in commodities trade and trade financing related to corporate and commercial legal practice. He has provided many internationally renowned traders with legal advice on Chinese laws and regulations in connection with the clients’ trade of crude oil, minerals, metals and other commodities.
Mr. Wang also frequently assists domestic and foreign clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment and financing, and litigation legal affairs.
