Glenn Tuazon is a Partner in Sy & Partners (Member Firm of Nishimura & Asahi) in the Philippines. He has thirteen (13) years of experience practicing international and domestic litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. He appears before various courts, including the Philippine Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, and trial courts, as well as international and domestic arbitral tribunals constituted under the rules of the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, PDRCI, and CIAC, among others.
Glenn also handles contractual, corporate, property, construction, energy disputes, and various transactions involving asset or share acquisitions focused on oil, gas, energy, mining, and public infrastructure. He also advises on regulatory compliance matters, including compliance with tobacco, mining law, competition law, anti-dummy, and anti-corruption laws.
Glenn received LLM in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration from the New York University School of Law (with distinctions) and his Juris Doctor degree (with honors) from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. He is a currently a professor teaching Constitutional Law, Remedial Law, and International Law at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Before joining Sy & Partners, Glenn was a partner in Romulo Law Office, one of the three largest firms in the Philippines.
