Jessica Li is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice at Fangda Partners, based in the firm's Shanghai office. She specializes in dispute resolution, as well as restructuring and insolvency, with a particular focus on cross-border matters.

Jessica has extensive experience advising and representing clients in complex commercial disputes, including those involving financing, investment, corporate control, M&A, contract claims and tort liability. She has appeared as counsel in arbitration proceedings before leading arbitral institutions such as CIETAC, SHIAC, SHAC and BAC, and has represented clients before all levels of courts in China. She also regularly collaborates with foreign legal counsel, providing support in connection with international arbitrations and foreign court proceedings.

In the insolvency space, Jessica regularly advises creditors, shareholders and foreign insolvency officeholders in large and complex cases involving out-of-court restructuring, liquidation, reorganization and involuntary dissolution. She has successfully assisted in securing the recognition in China of a Japanese rehabilitation proceeding and a Hong Kong liquidation proceeding.

Jessica also serves as a member of the China board of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
