Kesterson is one of the founding partners of SKY Law. He specializes in immigration and labor law with extensive experience in labor and employment claims, collective bargaining negotiations, labor dispute resolution, illegal work stoppages and interruptions, labor audits, international secondments, and work visa and immigration requirements. He has appeared before the National Labor Relations Commission, the Department of Labor and Employment, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, and the Bureau of Immigration on behalf of clients. He also taches at the University of the Philippines College of Law as a senior lecturer.

Kesterson worked as a lawyer at Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz, one of the Philippines' largest law firms, where he handled labor issues and concerns for some of the country's largest multinational corporations.
