Alan Bercow is an English solicitor and a dispute resolution partner, who recently joined Appleby in the Cayman Islands from Stephenson Harwood in London where he was co-head of the Fraud and Asset Recovery Team, specialising in high value, complex fraud and asset tracing claims, often involving freezing orders, disclosure orders, anti-suit injunctions and gagging orders.

Alan acts on a broad range of corporate and commercial disputes, which have included some of the largest cases before the English courts. His clients include companies, directors, high net worth individuals and insolvency practitioners.

His practice includes acting for insolvency practitioners, often using insolvency remedies to trace and recover assets, and he also regularly advises on directors' duties.

His experience is international, often involving parallel, multi-jurisdictional matters involving jurisdictions such as England, the Cayman Islands, Cyprus and the Isle of Man.
