Dan Glosband is of counsel in Goodwin’s Financial Services and Financial Restructuring practices. Dan's primary areas of practice are domestic and cross-border insolvency and reorganization. He represents debtors, officers and directors, fiduciaries and counterparties in all manner of sophisticated insolvency situations; advises on the insolvency implications of structuring business transactions; and, as one of the primary draftsmen of Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code (the U.S. cross-border bankruptcy law), represents parties in Chapter 15 cases and provides expert testimony to foreign courts.
Dan is regularly recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, where clients described him as “a guru” and a “go-to guy for particularly thorny issues.” He was elected as a fellow to the initial class of the American College of Bankruptcy, where he served as vice president, and is a former chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Committee for the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
