Katie is a Partner of Mourant and is the Head of Mourant's Jersey Litigation Practice.

Katie is an experienced courtroom advocate, having previously practised for a number of years at the Bar of England and Wales in commercial chancery law, and having been a Jersey Advocate since 2014.

Katie acts in a broad spectrum of litigation matters, including contentious trusts and private client, insolvency and restructuring, banking, funds, civil fraud and professional negligence litigation. Her cases are often multi-jurisdictional, complex and high-value in nature. She also regularly chairs and speaks at conferences in her areas of expertise.

Katie is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 2026 and is described therein as "a forceful, strategic, creative trust litigator" and, in the 2025 edition, as "an exceptionally bright lawyer, with good presence in court" and as "a stand out litigator and exceptionally pleasant to deal with.
