Bill Glascott, Managing Director, is Clarion’s Head of Alternative Housing Transactions. He is responsible for driving the expansion of Clarion’s housing sector capabilities, with a strong focus on creating, implementing and scaling strategies in sectors such as build-to-rent, single-family rental, manufactured housing, and student housing. Bill has over 24 years of investment experience in alternative real estate asset classes where his duties spanned the entire spectrum of the transaction process, including: sourcing acquisitions, valuations, deal structuring and negotiations, due diligence, financing, and M&A.

Prior to joining Clarion, Bill spent 13 years at Green Courte Partners ("GCP") a sponsor of real estate private equity funds focused on niche real estate sectors, where he served as Chief Investment Officer. A member of GCP's management and investment committees, he was responsible for guiding the firm's overall investment strategies and capital deployment activities, in sectors such as manufactured housing, senior housing, parking, and industrial outdoor storage.

Prior to his time with GCP, Bill spent twelve years on the investments team with Hometown America, LLC where he helped Hometown grow into one of the nation's largest private owners of manufactured housing communities.

Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with a B.S. in Economics and is a CFA charterholder. He is active in the Urban Land Institute, Manufactured Housing Institute, and the CFA Society Chicago.
