Lauren Taylor is the Founder and Managing Partner of Bear Impact Fund, an investment platform proving that private capital can drive scalable, sustainable solutions to the affordable housing crisis while generating strong financial returns. Bear Impact Fund strategically acquires and rehabilitates underutilized housing stock, develops infill build-to-rent (BTR), and integrates Section 8 and other affordability programs to create high-quality, recession-resistant rental housing through a Nonprofit relationship with Haven Home Foundation.

As a Board Member of the National Rental Home Council, Lauren actively works to shape policy and industry best practices, ensuring that responsible investment and operational excellence remain at the forefront of the single-family rental market.

Previously, Lauren founded Realty Haven and Rent Haven, streamlining operations for institutional SFR investors, and launched Haven Home Foundation, a nonprofit focused on housing accessibility. With over 16 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, and operational strategy, she has built scalable models that align institutional capital with mission-driven housing solutions.
