Tamara Zeidan serves as the inaugural Director of the Office of Innovation at the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB). She leads the District’s efforts to advance innovation in financial services and strengthen Washington, DC’s position as a hub for inclusive and responsible fintech growth.

Under her leadership, the Office of Innovation partners with fintech, insurtech, and regtech companies to provide regulatory guidance, foster collaboration, and expand access to technology-driven financial solutions, especially for underserved and underbanked communities.

With over 17 years of experience building cross-sector partnerships across government, private, and nonprofit organizations, Tamara is committed to advancing financial inclusion and shaping an equitable, forward-looking financial ecosystem in the District.
