Profile

Magalie Guilhabert joined Invaio in May 2025 as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). She is a seasoned R&D executive with deep expertise in agricultural biotechnology, having held leadership roles and developing and launching three succesful commercial products for major agriculture companies, including Ginkgo Bioworks and Bayer US.

Magalie has a strong track record in synthetic biology, microbial genetics, and plant-microbe interactions, supported by 15 patents. She holds a Master's degree in Agronomy from the University of Rennes, France, and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from UC Davis. Magalie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Alliance for Phytobiome Research.
