Mir SeyedbagheriDirector of Research and Development at BiogroSpeaker
Profile
Mir is a professor emeritus, with areas of specialty in soil agronomy and biometeorology. He has been recognized nationally and internationally for his applied research on soil health and nutrients and water-use efficiencies.
He also holds two scholarly patents for solubilizing and decoding large molecules of functional carbon to bolster natural ecosystem’s physical, chemical, and biological matrices. Among his other myriad of honors, NASA has included Mir’s twelve-year summary of his studies with organic acids in their assorted projects. He was also the recipient of a Governor’s Excellence Award in environmental studies (in Idaho). Mir has also been the recipient of twenty-three scholarly awards nationally and internationally.
In addition, he has had a multitude of consulting projects with environmental consulting companies. These include, but are not limited to, golf course environmental studies and assessing organic based and conventional products’ impacts on soil health, fertilizer, and water-use efficiencies.
Mir is also well known for his innovative and well-proven systematic approach to calculate macro and micronutrients’ inner plays in soil analysis reports. He has used these for a range of clients, ranging from golf courses to conventional farms, with dynamic and quantifiable outcomes.
Above all else, he strongly believes soil is a living system with many intelligent signatures, which need to be assiduously protected. Mir works toward fulfilling that goal with each day.
