Susan Abu-Absi, Ph.D. is a CMC executive with 25 years in product development & supply. She is COO at Be Biopharma, driving operations to pioneer engineered B cell medicines for rare diseases. As CTO at 2seventy bio, she led Technical Development & Supply, enabling Abecma's launch and advancing four novel cell therapies into clinic. At bluebird bio, she was instrumental in the approvals of Zynteglo and Skysona. She spent fifteen years in product development at Bristol Myers Squibb and Bayer. She earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is an AIMBE Fellow.
