Chrissy Kinkade

Chrissy received her BS in Biological Sciences from University of Maryland College Park in 2006 and a PhD in Neuroscience from Penn State University in 2010. After a brief two-year stint at the University of California, Berkeley as a Research Compliance Analyst, Chrissy went to the University of California, Davis to establish the Veterinary Center for Clinical Trials within their School of Veterinary Medicine and start her industry-academic relations journey. In 2020, Chrissy came to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill) to become an Assistant Director and then Director of Industry Engagement. As Director, Chrissy facilitates industry engagements across the university, finds strategic alignments and whole-heartedly supports a holistic approach to relationships between UNC-Chapel Hill and industry partners of all shapes and sizes.
