Sherwood is the co-founder and CEO of Atom Bioworks, an early-stage startup developing a design-centric aptamer-based targeting platform to radically reduce the time of designing high-affinity binding molecules to protein targets. Before founding Atom Bio, Sherwood led the early product launch of IBM Watson Healthcare AI platform. He has a BA in Physics from Tsinghua University and MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park.
