With more than 20 years of track record in business management, strategy, marketing, and product management, Anis also has research experience at biotech, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, and premier academic organizations. In his current role, he leads strategy and marketing segment development for pharma/biopharma development and Mfg./QA/QC within the Life Sciences division. In his previous roles at PerkinElmer, Anis led the Biology informatics portfolio within the informatics business and was also the program leader within R&D and applications with focus on genomics and proteomics.

Anis also serves on the scientific and editorial advisory board of Genetic Engineering News – a premier biotech publication of Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. He is a recipient of numerous awards for global accomplishments in product management and marketing as well as basic research and academics. Anis has authored and co-authored numerous publications, chapters, reviews, abstracts, and has been invited to present talks at national and international conferences. He has a post-doctorate in virology, viral pathogenesis, viral vector development, and vaccines evaluation from Harvard Medical School and a Ph.D. in Virology/Molecular Biology.
