Jeff received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2015, his thesis work on the de novo/rational design of metal binding sites in alpha-helical scaffolds. Jeff’s postdoctoral work focused on engineering novel motifs on bacterial protein compartments to generate compartment variants with diverse functions (catalytic and/or structural). Jeff has been working in the Gene Therapy Industry since 2019 and is currently a Senior Scientist at Spark Therapeutics applying high throughput development technologies to improve AAV manufacturing processes.
