Laurie joined AbbVie in 2014 as a member of the Process Engineering Group within Process Research & Development. During her time at AbbVie, Laurie has impacted the development and technology transfer of commercial-ready processes for a wide range of products, from small to large molecule assets. Laurie assumed her current role as Principal Research Scientist in Process R&D in 2020 and now leads the Bioprocess Engineering Drug Substance Group.
Laurie holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a BChE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
