Gweyn Foo

Gweyn Foo is Managing Director at MEC Global Partners Asia, the investment management platform of Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd, Asia Pacific's largest real estate owner, developer and fund manager with over US$100 billion of AUM. She is a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Committee and a representative on the Global ESG Committee, with responsibility spanning capital raising, investment origination and execution, asset management, fund formation and investor relations across the region.

With more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment across Asia Pacific, Gweyn has structured and managed over US$10 billion of debt and equity investments and led capital raising of more than US$1 billion from sovereign wealth funds, insurers, pension funds and institutional investors across Europe, Japan and Asia. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Estate in 2018, she spent over a decade at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where she rose to Principal and managed a US$10 billion pan-Asian portfolio spanning joint ventures, direct assets, private equity funds and listed securities across more than 100 transactions. She began her career at Jones Lang LaSalle in Singapore.

Gweyn holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
