Profile
Julian Mayo is Head of Business Development at Universal Investment Group’s London office. Prior to joining Universal Investment in 2020, he spent more than 30 years in Europe and Asia with leading asset management firms. Most recently he was Co-CIO and Chief Strategist with emerging markets specialists Charlemagne Capital (now Fiera Europe).
He started his career in Hong Kong with Schroders, before joining Thornton Management (now part of Allianz Global Investors), for whom he opened their Tokyo office. Julian has a BSc. in Economics from Bristol University.
