Phyllis is the Chief Executive Officer of China Alpha Fund Management Pte. Ltd., a long-short equity fund manager, where she oversees the firm's overall business operations, risk management, compliance, and investor relations.

Prior to her current role, Phyllis served as Chief Operating Officer at Asia Genesis Asset Management Pte. Ltd., a global macro discretionary hedge fund manager, from November 2019 to June 2024. In that capacity, she was responsible for the firm’s business operations, risk management, and compliance functions.

Before that, she was Vice President of Investment Services in Private Markets and Finance at GIC Private Limited. There, she acted as Financial Controller for the private equity and infrastructure investment entities, while also spearheading change management and implementation initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Phyllis held the role of Senior Manager, Risk and Accounting, at Asia Genesis from 2009 to 2015, where she managed both back-office and middle-office functions.

She holds the position as the Treasurer of the Financial Women’s Association (Singapore) and has served FWA Singapore since 2021.

Phyllis is a Chartered Accountant and holds a First-Class Honours degree in Accountancy, with a Minor in Entrepreneurship, from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
