PeptiStar is a new peptide CDMO in Japan established in 2017, which has unique & innovative peptide synthesis technologies and state-of-the-art cGMP manufacturing facilities.
In this article, we introduce the benefits of our core synthesis technologies with some summary data: (i) Microwave synthesis - PeptiStar is the only one CDMO which can utilize microwave technology for large-scale manufacturing of peptides under cGMP; and (ii) STag synthesis (tag-assisted LPPS) - PeptiStar has innovative LPPS technology which enables one-pot synthesis even for long-chain peptides without precipitation, purification and concentration at each amino acid elongation step.
Last but not least, we also discuss PeptiStar's manufacturing strategy on how to choose Microwave and STag synthesis methods, depending on the production scale and the stages of development.
