Dr. Reiko Kiwamoto leads the global compliance program for EU REACH, UK REACH and KKDIK at Unilever. With a PhD in Toxicology, she has experience in government roles in Japan and the Netherlands and in academia. Reiko’s key area of expertise lies in regulatory science, with a particular passion for applying scientific principles to regulatory practices. Recently, she led a notable project to apply New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) from a regulatory perspective, collaborating with a group of over 50 scientists. Originally from Japan, Reiko has lived in the Netherlands for 16 years.
