The Romanian Crop Protection Association (AIPROM), established in 2002, represents companies that develop, formulate, and repackage plant protection products, accounting for over 85% of the Romanian crop protection market. AIPROM is also a member of CropLife Europe, aligning with European industry standards and priorities.

AIPROM’s mission is to promote the responsible use of plant protection products within the framework of sustainable agriculture—balancing food production needs with human health and environmental care. As Romania aligns with European Union regulations, AIPROM plays a key role in supporting the timely, correct, and practical implementation of EU legislation related to the authorization of plant protection products.

Recognized as a trusted dialogue partner by regulatory authorities, AIPROM collaborates actively with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the National Commission for the Approval of Plant Protection Products. Together, they work on joint initiatives and contribute to developing real-world solutions for the challenges faced by the crop protection industry.
