Amarjit Singh is a Partner in EY’s Assurance practice and the EMEIA Assurance Leader for Digital Assets, with more than 25 years’ experience advising financial institutions, fintechs and emerging digital-asset businesses on audit, regulatory assurance and control frameworks.

He serves as the UK audit partner for a number of digital-asset and crypto-based entities and as a review partner on complex engagements across EMEIA. Since 2012, Amarjit has acted as a CASS audit partner and s166 Skilled Person for large and complex firms, including global custodians and some of the most significant CASS reviews undertaken in the UK.

Amarjit leads SOC 1, SSAE 16 and AAF 01/20 assurance engagements across custody, operations, middle-office functions and crypto-enabled platforms. His regulatory experience spans governance, compliance, client money, KYC, investment suitability, operational resilience and remediation programmes, with work ranging from formal regulatory investigations to internal audit co-sourcing and specialist advisory support.

A trusted adviser to global firms and regulators, Amarjit works extensively on blockchain-related developments, including cryptocurrencies, digital assets, CBDCs and market infrastructure solutions, supporting the convergence of fintech innovation and established financial institutions across global markets.

He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and Chair of the EY Sikh Network, actively supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives
