Dan has approaching 20 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry covering the banking, asset management and insurance sectors, and for the last 15 years has specialised in client asset compliance. He is responsible for global Client Asset oversight of BNY Mellon’s Markets business, together with holding the UK Certified Person role in relation to oversight of the CASS regulations. BNY Mellon’s Markets business includes products relating to Securities Financing, Liquidity cash/MMF custody and execution, margin Collateral, and FX and Fixed Income execution. Dan is responsible for the governance, oversight and control framework embedded within the business, ensuring both ongoing compliance and assessing the impact of change within the business to the CASS environment.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the ICAEW, and his previous roles include client asset compliance and CASS Audit and Advisory at Deloitte.
