Edward is the Director of Client Assets for Interactive Brokers’ European Entities, ensuring appropriate and robust client asset protection and controls for entities based in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Hungary. He also holds the Head of Client Assets (HCAO, PCF-45) designation for the Irish Entity, Interactive Brokers Ireland.
Edward has spent his whole career at Interactive Brokers and has been involved in client asset protection since their first European entity, Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited, commenced carrying client assets over a decade ago. He has lead the charge to automate client asset protection processes, including the client money computation and associated reconciliations, following Interactive Brokers’ goal of using automation to gain efficiencies and reduce the need for manual processes.
Edward has also worked in Accounting and Prudential Regulation for Interactive Brokers. He has worked at both the headquarters in Greenwich, CT, United States and in London, U.K. where he is currently based.
