Peter Gisberts is the Managing Director of U-TRIAL, the Utrecht TRIAL and Innovation ALiance, and THINC Healthcare, a science as a service organization with academic expertise in HTA and methodology, at the UMC Utrecht.

With a degree in Medical Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, Peter Gisberts started his professional career working for Novo Nordisk BV in the Netherlands as a medical sales rep. Moving forward, he became responsible for the clinical development program of NoveSeven in the BeNeLux. Switching companies to Roche Diagnostics he builds a whole new Medical Affairs & Market Access department for the Dutch Affiliate. Expending his responsibilities for Roche, he started in 2020 in the position of Global Medical Affairs Director in Switzerland, leading the infectious disease team during the World wide Covid Pandemic . After 2 years returning to The Netherlands in his current role as Managing Director U-TRIAL, fostering the clinical trial ecosystem in and around the UMC Utrecht
