Ms. Xanthi G. Bitzidou is a Senior Greek lawyer with an extensive experience on the full range of EU and Greek competition law, regulation and litigation. Her 20 years practice focuses on network industries and mainly on the TMT sector.
Ms. Bitzidou is a lawyer at the legal department of E.E.T.T (Hellenic Telecommunications and Posts Commission), where she he has been involved in numerous competition law cases (merger and antitrust) of the Greek Electronic Communications and Postal markets. She has also acted extensively in regulation, implementation and policy issues, disputes, litigation and market investigations in co-operation with a number of national regulators (NRAs), EU bodies and the EU Commission. A Greek qualified lawyer, she obtained her Law Degree from Greece, and holds a D.E.S from Brussels (Institut of European Law - ULB) and an MPhiL from UK (Kent Law School). Prior to joining E.E.T.T. Ms. Bitzidou practiced EU law in Brussels, where is also focused her professional experience on EU competition law and the TMT sector.
