Profile
Marc is an experienced competition lawyer who has led and worked on a number of complex investigations and policy work streams, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver.
He is currently Acting Head of the FCA’s Competition Enforcement & Financial Analysis Department.
Prior to joining the FCA in November 2017, Marc held a number of roles at the Competition & Markets Authority and its predecessor the Office of Fair Trading. As an Assistant Director in the CMA’s Policy and International Group he advised case teams on a range of issues and worked on several CMA guidance documents including in relation to CA98 and administrative penalties and private actions. As a case handler, he has led and worked on criminal and civil competition investigations including Marine Hose, BA/Virgin, a number of Roofing Cases, Independent Schools, and Tobacco.
