Senior Counsel Competition at Siemens AG, advising the company and its group on domestic, cross-border, and multi-jurisdictional merger control, as well as on all other areas of competition law and regulatory compliance, including M&A transactions, business transactions, and compliance-related matters. Christoph regularly takes a lead role in navigating Siemens through complex regulatory reviews (MC, FDI & FSR) and is an experienced practitioner in day-to-day operational competition law advice. Prior to joining Siemens in 2013, he was a legal advisor at the European Parliament in Brussels, handling competition law-related dossiers (incl. the EU Cartel Damages Claims Directive). Christoph is a German-qualified attorney who completed his legal education in Tübingen, Germany. During his legal studies and legal clerkship, he served as an academic staff member at the European Parliament in Strasbourg (2005-2011).
