Mattijs Bosch is a Senior Legal Counsel - Competition Law & Policy at Maersk (A.P. Møller-Mærsk). Maersk is an integrated transport and logistics company. Mattijs Bosch is managing competition law compliance programs, merger control aspects of M&A deals, and antitrust procedures and complaints. Amongst others, he coordinates contact and strategy with regard to authorities and outside counsel. Before Mattijs joined Maersk, he was an attorney-at-law, admitted to the Dutch bar, in Amsterdam and Brussels, specializing in competition law. He worked as a Senior Associate for Houthoff, one of the largest Dutch firms (2009-2016), and for Maverick Lawyers, a Dutch competition law boutique firm (2017-2018). Moreover, Mattijs has published various articles in competition law journals, and regularly provides lectures at the University of Leiden. He studied law in Maastricht and Florence and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King’s College London.
