As of the time of this conference, Patty Brink will be recently retired from her position as a career competition enforcer at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She held a variety of positions at the Division; most notably, she was a trial attorney for 15 years, Special Counsel for Microsoft Decree Enforcement, the Director of Civil Enforcement for 10 years, and Assistant Chief of the International Section. During her 30-plus years at the Division, Patty had several assignments inside and outside DOJ, including the White House in 1997, the Office of the Associate Attorney General in 2021, and the FTC’s Bureau of Competition in 2022. Patty is active in the ABA’s Antitrust Section and a frequent speaker on a variety of competition-related topics.
