Maite Mazzitelli Gorraiz is Senior Corporate Counsel in the Business Development & Competition Law team at Novo Nordisk. She advises business and legal leadership on a broad range of global competition law and compliance matters, including complex strategic, regulatory, commercial, and transactional initiatives across life-science markets, helping organizations navigate legal risk while enabling growth, innovation, and cross-functional decision-making. With more than a decade of international experience across industry, private practice, and public authorities, she brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to legal and regulatory challenges.Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, Maite held senior legal roles at Nexi Group, the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Kromann Reumert, and Cuatrecasas, where she advised multinational organizations on regulatory strategy, transactions, investigations, litigation, compliance, risk management and governance matters. She is admitted to the Madrid Bar and holds an LL.M. in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges), an LL.M. in EU Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and degrees in Spanish and French Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
