Andreas Reindl is VBB’s Managing Partner and has more than 30 years’ experience advising international clients on a wide range of high-profile competition matters, including major EU merger control cases and behavioural investigations. Andreas also frequently counsels on a range of complex antitrust issues in connection with product development, pricing, and distribution strategies. Andreas leads VBB’s cross-practice group on the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. He frequently counsels international clients on FSR compliance and has represented clients in FSR notifications and investigations. He works across a broad range of sectors, with particular expertise in the digital & tech, transport, and consumer products sectors.
In addition to his time in private practice, which has involved working in both Brussels and Washington, DC, Andreas has served as Director of the Fordham Competition Law Institute at Fordham Law School, New York, and as a Principal Administrator at the OECD’s Competition Division in Paris. He currently serves as a Non-governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network and as a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union.
Andreas has taught U.S. antitrust law, European competition law, intellectual property law and EU law at the University of Michigan Law School, and at Fordham Law School, New York, as well as in Europe.
