Arvid Fredenberg is Chief Economist at the Swedish Competition Authority since 2012, where he has worked since 2001. He is leading the Chief Economist’s Unit with 15 employees. He has strategic responsibility for economic analysis and data analysis at the authority. Arvid has worked on numerous cases in a wide range of industries including several cases in court as the responsible for economic analysis in the case. Arvid received his PhD in 2001 from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he specialized in industrial organization.
