Charlotte Fornø is Lead of Group Competition Law in Danske Bank, a leading Nordic bank with the ambition to be a Nordic market leader in supporting the sustainability transition for customers, businesses and societies. Danske Bank’s competition team advises the executive leadership, business units, and group functions on antitrust, merger control, and certain payment regulations. Before joining Danske Bank, Charlotte led the legal team at VKR Holding, overseeing antitrust, marketing and sustainability regulation for the business areas VELUX and DOVISTA globally. She has also worked in leading Danish law firms, specializing in antitrust, merger control, state aid and EU internal market law, and previously served as Hearing Officer for competition proceedings at the EFTA Surveillance Authority in Brussels.
