Cristina Sjödin is Deputy Head of the unit responsible for antitrust/DMA case support and policy within the European Commission’s DG Competition. Previously, she worked several years in the European Commission’s Legal Service, where she advised and represented the Commission before the EU Courts in merger, antitrust and DMA matters, and as a case handler in DG Competition, dealing with major digital and telecom mergers. Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked as a competition lawyer in an international law firm. She holds an LL.M. degree from the College of Europe.
