Gunnar Oldehaver studied economics at the University of Hamburg, focusing on industrial economics and competition policy, and later worked as a research associate at the University of Bayreuth. Since 2006, he has advised companies on competition economics, specializing in cartel and abuse cases, with an emphasis on data-driven market analysis and the quantification of damages. Gunnar Oldehaver has acted as an expert witness for both plaintiffs and defendants, assisting with the economic assessment of cartel cases, damage estimation, and legal claims. Since 2010, he has been a lecturer at the University of Bayreuth and regularly participates in economic conferences.
