Jolanta Ivanauskienė was appointed the Chairwoman of Konkurencijos taryba for the tenure of six years starting on 2 May 2023. Prior to this promotion, for the past three years she was a Chief Advisor in charge of coordinating the infringement procedures. Mrs Ivanauskienė started working in the Legal Division of Konkurencijos taryba in 2006, led the Anti-competitive Agreements Investigation Division from 2010 to 2013, held the position of a Council Member of the institution from 2013 to 2020. Before starting her career at Konkurencijos taryba, she worked as a lawyer at a Lithuanian law firm from 2002 to 2006.

Having graduated with a Master of Laws degree from Vilnius University, the Faculty of Law, in 2005, Mrs Ivanauskienė continued her studies at the International Business School at Vilnius University and graduated with a Master of Management and Business Administration degree in 2008.
