Profile

Lars Henriksson is a Professor of Law at the Stockholm School of Economics. He has a strong background in both economics and law, and his research and practice cover a wide range of areas, including market law, antitrust and competition law, contract law, EU law, company law, and international trade law. He is particularly interested in regulated markets and the legal challenges they present.

He has chaired a governmental public enquiry and has also worked as an expert and secretary on other government enquiries. He is a member of ASCOLA, the global association of competition law academics. Earlier, he was appointed to the Council for Research Issues at the Swedish Competition Authority and led the LL.D. Program in law at SSE and held the position as General Counsel for the School until 2022. From 2011 to 2025, he was on the Board of the Institute of Intellectual Property Law and Marketing Law at Stockholm University. In 2013, he became a Non-Government Advisor to the International Competition Network’s Unilateral Conduct Working Group and is now also a member of La Ligue internationale du droit de la concurrence (LIDC).

He has written many articles on legal topics, such as competition law, copyright law, public procurement, company law and telecom and energy regulation. Besides his academic work, he has an extensive experience as a consultant in legal matters and as an expert in arbitration tribunals and court proceedings.
