Michael Klöcker has vast experience in EU and Danish competition law and advises particularly on dominant enterprises, anti-competitive agreements, merger control, state aid, dawn raids and compliance including training. Michael provides advice within a number of regulated markets, including especially within telecoms, IT and the media sector. Michael also advises on Danish administrative law and he is a part time associate professor at the University of Copenhagen teaching administrative law.

Michael has advised competition law for more than 15 years and leads the DLA Piper Denmark competition law team. Michael has vast experience in handling competition law cases at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the Danish Competition Council, the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal and the Danish courts. Michael has worked with many sectors such as food, industrial, construction, tech businesses (computer hardware, telecom, hi-fi), media and pharma. Further, Michael has advised many undertakings on compliance, including designing and implementing compliance programmes.
