Michael Klöcker is a partner of DLA Piper Denmark and the practise group head of the litigation and regulatory group. He also heads the Danish competition law team at DLA Piper. Furthermore, he takes part in the DLA Piper Nordic Board competition law team.

Michael has extensive experience with Danish and EU competition law. As the head of the team, he deals with all aspects of competition law, including interactions with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the EU Commission and the courts.

Michael has experience in working with many sectors including retail (such as fashion industry, food and beverage, pharma and personal care), infrastructure such as energy, oil and gas, telecom, and transportation and the financial sector, such as the payment industry and IT solutions for the financial sector. Michael has for many years had a special focus on Media, Telecoms and IT.

Michael also taken on advising on foreign investments (FDI regulation), which was introduced in Denmark in 2021.
