Michael O’Mara is a partner with Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider, based in its DC office. He represents clients in all areas of antitrust law, including litigation, merger control, investigations, and counseling. He has experience with both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, representing clients before the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and competition regulators in Europe, China, Korea, Japan, India, and other jurisdictions. Michael’s litigation experience includes defending clients in multiple high stakes antitrust class actions, including Stanley Black & Decker, Tyson Foods, and multiple U.S. PVC manufacturers against conspiracy allegations. Michael is a Nordophile by marriage and enjoys salmiakki (yes, really), unplugging at a mӧkki in the summer, and taking his kids on the Silja line.
