Robert is a counsel in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group of Baker McKenzie's London office and advises clients in various industries on merger control matters, antitrust cases, market studies/investigations and compliance programmes. He previously worked as a Senior Case Officer at the Swedish Competition Authority (SCA) where he took part in a number of dawn raids and antitrust investigations. Robert has represented clients on dawn raids, abuse of dominance and cartel investigations, including before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the European Commission (EC) and the SCA. He also has extensive merger control experience, including filings before the CMA, the EC and the SCA, as well as multi-jurisdictional filings; and also advises clients on the application of national foreign direct investment (FDI) to transactions.
