Tuomas Haanperä leads the Competition service at Copenhagen Economics.

Tuomas is an experienced competition economist with around 20 years of experience gained across a wide range of industries and countries. Tuomas advises public and private sector clients in competition and regulatory matters, including antitrust, merger inquiries and State aid. Tuomas has in-depth sector expertise in TMT and healthcare.

Prior to joining Copenhagen Economics, Tuomas has spent most of his career in the UK where he held a senior role at a leading economic consultancy and, most recently, was an Economics Director with a regulator with concurrent competition powers.
